Quote Checklist: Ensure You Have:

  • 3D + 2D Files: We recommend sending both 3D models and 2D drawings.
  • 3D Formats: We prefer STEP (.step/.stp) or IGES (.igs/.iges) files.
  • Note on STL: The STL format is a mesh file. It may not work for parts with tight tolerances.
  • 2D Drawings (PDF): Please specify key dimensions and tolerances. Also include details on threads, material, and surface finish.
  • Quantity needed for each part
  • Material and its grade
  • Surface finish, if you need one
  • Units (mm or in) and drawing revision number

Here is an example format to use:

  • 100 pcs – MP0211-001-00 – Stainless Steel 316 – As machined
  • 5 pcs – MP0380-002-01 – Al6061 – Sand blasted + red anodize

If you have many parts, a Bill of Materials (BOM) helps us review them faster. You can upload the BOM with your quote request.
